Synopsis

I started to re-examine my body. Taking my own breast hyperplasia as an opportunity, I began to think about what I have experienced as a woman. ’Why do women have to give birth’, ’Why menstruation is a shame’. Those ”stones” that I perceive as a woman always hurt me. However, I will keep smashing such stones in this endless cycle of dreams. Over and over, smash it.

Shengxue Shi

Shengxue Shi was born on December 25, 1997 in Hangzhou, China. After graduating from the illustration design major at Soochow University in 2020, she became interested in animation and decided to study abroad in Japan. In 2022, she entered entered the Department of Animation at Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School of Film and New Media.
